My website: David Fenwick Photography
I had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Mark's wedding on Saturday at Waterfall Cottage in Patrixbourne, St Mary's Church in Chilham and Chilham Castle. It was very windy all day, with the odd brief rain shower but, overall, the conditions were pretty good for photography.
This was the first time I'd shot at Chilham Castle (in fact it's the only enquiry I've ever had for this venue) which might be explained by the fact that it's privately owned and only hosts the occasional wedding. I hope I get to work there again though as it's a phenomenal venue for wedding photography. The buildings are magnificent, with stunning views over the North Downs, and are situated in beautiful grounds. I'd often peered through the wrought-iron gates, adjacent to Chilham village square, when shooting weddings in Chilham and wondered what photographic possibilities lurked within - now I know!
A selection of images from Helen and Mark's wedding is now online. Please check out the gallery for their wedding at Chilham Castle.
