Highlights from Bangladesh

My website: Wedding Photographer Kent

I was very lucky to be able to take 3 weeks off during March to go travelling in Bangladesh, India and Bhutan. I went with Explore and there were 10 of us in the group. It wasn't a phototour but I took advantage of every opportunity to get the camera out. First up, a small selection of images from Bangladesh - an amazing country with the friendliest people I've ever encountered.

I nearly fell out of the boat laughing when he did this.

Tourists are not often seen in Bangladesh so it's a very warm welcome wherever you go.

What was particularly pleasing was that it felt like a fair exchange on the photo front between locals and tourists. They wanted photos of us as much as we wanted photos of them!

One of the highlights in Bangladesh was a visit to a rural school. I had my laptop with me, as I was trying to keep up with my photo post-production whilst travelling, and had a gallery of images of the family on it. One of the local guides suggested I show the children some of these - hence the shot above (with photos of Emily and Oliver taken last Christmas with Santa hats and bubble-bath beards!)
