I had the pleasure of photographing Kira and Chris' wedding on Saturday at The Guildhall Museum in Rochester, followed by the reception at the Botting family home (Chris' parents) in Gillingham. Despite having lived in Kent since 1998 this was the first time I'd been to the historic part of Rochester - it's definitely worth a visit. The day started off heavily overcast but the sun ripped through the clouds in the afternoon leaving us with a glorious blue sky (and had us scuttling off in search of open shade).
This is the third event I've photographed for the Bottings. They're a lovely relaxed and friendly family and it's always a pleasure to work with them. It's the first time I've photographed 70 people in a family home - it was quite cosy!
