My website: Wedding Photographer Kent
I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Darren's wedding on Saturday at St Mildred's Church and Preston Court in the village of Preston near Canterbury. The gods were smiling upon us with regards to the weather as there were a couple of torrential downpours but always when we were indoors! Otherwise it was sunny intervals.
St Mildred's Church is absolutely lovely and the Reverend Jo Robertson is one of the most charming vicars I've ever worked with. Unlike many of her colleagues she clearly does enjoy marrying couples! Preston Court is also a wedding photographer's dream venue - the grounds are just stunning.
Another piece of good fortune was that as we walked out of the church after the ceremony we had a flypast from a Lancaster bomber on its way to the Margate airshow - plus I had a 70-200mm lens on the camera at the time so was able to get a great shot of it. Perfect!
I've finished post-production on their images so please check out the gallery for Katie and Darren's wedding at Preston Court or view this non-Flash based alternative gallery.
