One of the many pleasures of photographing at St Augustine's Priory is the north-facing window in the priory which illuminates the couple during the ceremony - absolutely beautiful light.

The hat thrower cornered and clearly not enjoying himself. Natural justice as far as I'm concerned - haha!

I'm loving the natural look of your photos. I noticed you have been using primes alot even though you have the focal length in alot of your zoom lenses you've been using. Do you find the primes sharper?

Anyway, great photos, i bet the couple love them.

Hi Dan,

Many thanks for your lovely feedback.

I use the primes mainly because I love shooting at ultra wide apertures. I do think the optical quality of the primes is better than the zooms but it's a case of the law of diminishing returns - you're having to pay a lot more for a small gain.

All the best,

David
