Steps - the wedding photographer's friend.

The light was beautiful. Shot in direct sunlight.

And now with the sun at 10 o'clock for a nice rim-lighting effect.

If he'd been playing the piano he'd have played all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

The light in the reception room was of low quantity but high quality. It was purely from the windows and the white walls ensured there was a lot of soft reflected light around. Thankfully the venue did not put on any tungsten room lights. The only artificial light was from candles on the tables. As the light levels dropped I upped the ISO setting. I ended up shooting at ISO 4000 without having to use flash.

Notice the positive exposure compensation to account for the predominant light tones.

The groom as 70s wrestling hero 'Big Daddy' - on his stag do I hope.

A couple of high dynamic range shots to say farewell to Combe Park School. An absolutely fabulous venue for wedding photography.

Any comments or queries are more than welcome.

I love the pictures of the couple in the pathway; it's really sentimental. And the last photo looks like the perfect ending to a perfect day.
