A Tenterden Wedding

My website: Wedding Photographers in Kent

A selection of images from Caroline and Phil's wedding that I photographed recently in Sandhurst, near Tenterden. Please check out their wedding gallery

HDR (-2, 0, +2), f/6.4, ISO 400, 16mm, 16-35mm f/2.8L II

Exposing for the building left the sky pure white - HDR to the rescue.

The light coming in through the church's main window was fabulous. I asked Phil to stand in the 'sweet spot'. Notice the use of negative exposure compensation.

1/125, f/2.8, ISO 3200, 0 EV, 140mm, 70-200mm f/2.8L IS

The church was dimly lit. Time to switch to ISO 3200. Modern camera technology is liberating.

Positive EC to compensate for the bright background.

No additional Photoshop work was required for this one. The background was very dark!

The evidence, m'lud.

1/40, f/1.4, ISO 3200, 1 ²⁄₃ EV, 35mm f/1.4L

Very low light and almost two stops of positive EC. Thank goodness for fast prime lenses.
