Weddings at The Lost Village of Dode

My website: Wedding Photographers in Kent

I had the pleasure of photographing Lorna and Stuart's wedding yesterday at The Lost Village of Dode. It was my first time at this very popular Kent wedding venue but it was certainly worth the wait - it's wonderfully photogenic. A camera which performs well at high ISO settings is a necessity though - it's very, very dark inside! The intriguing name of the venue results from the fact that the village of Dode was wiped out by the Black Death in the 14th century. The site is of particular significance to pagans and Lorna and Stuart chose to have a pagan ceremony after their civil ceremony. Another first for me and also fabulously photogenic.

The light yesterday was terrific - I think 'sunny intervals' would be the correct meteorological description. It was great to have a bit of cloud cover for the first time in a month!

I've finished processing their wedding photographs and their wedding gallery is now online.
