Wedding photography Bromley

A selection of photos from Emma and Matt's wedding, photographed at The Garden Room, Bromley Civic Centre, and Bromley Football Club on Saturday. See their full wedding gallery.

This is what happens when you photograph a short Scouser!

There was only limited shade in the garden and some big groups to photograph...

...so we had to do them in direct sunlight. Not ideal but sometimes unavoidable. I underexposed by one stop to avoid burning out highlights and then boosted fill light in post-production to reduce shadows.

Back into shade and the caress of soft light!

The light in the reception room was challenging. People's heads were lit but their bodies were in deep shadow. I used a lot of negative exposure compensation to avoid huge over-exposure.
