Hi David

At what portrait distance do you start dialing down the flash?

Also do you find that the 85L is no good (poor keep rate) in AI SERVO mode - to slow to focus.

Thanks!

Hi Mark,

Two excellent questions.

I start dialling down flash once I'm within 2m. The 85L can cope with walking subjects in AI servo mode provided they're at least 2m away.

2m seems to be a magic distance!

Yours,

David
